The Echo Ridge Academy Curriculum
Module 1: Tissue Melting
The foundation of the program.
Students learn osteopathic listening skills, advanced palpation, nervous system regulation, and the principles of working with tissue rather than against it. This module introduces a new way to assess and treat the body while reducing physical strain on the practitioner. It lays the foundation for the palpation skills needed to develop the sensitivity required to become a skilled osteopath. This course is open to existing MOPs seeking to refine their ability to assess and interpret tissue responses.
Module 2: Myofascial Remodelling & Modalities
Building upon Tissue Melting, students learn how fascial tension patterns influence posture, movement, and pain. Students also learn how to integrate:
Cupping Therapy
Shockwave Therapy
Therapeutic Ultrasound
Kinesiology Taping
Module 3: Visceral Osteopathy
Students explore the role of the organs, connective tissues, and visceral relationships in movement, posture, compensation patterns, and chronic pain presentations.
Module 4: Cranial Osteopathy
Develop a deeper understanding of the nervous system, cranial relationships, fluid dynamics, and the body's self-regulating mechanisms.
Module 5: Joint Mobilization & Muscle Energy Techniques
Students learn osteopathic approaches to restoring movement, improving joint function, and addressing structural compensation patterns throughout the body.
Integrated Throughout the Program
Rather than being taught as separate courses, these topics are woven throughout every module:
Osteopathic Principles
Listening Skills
Clinical Integration
Business Development
Professional Ethics
Self-Care for Healers
Home Study Requirements
Case Studies
Independent Research
Clinical Reflections
Final Thesis Project
Clinical Training
Students complete supervised clinical hours either:
Through the Echo Ridge Academy Student Clinic
Through approved off-site clinical supervision
This structure actually reflects how you teach. You start with listening and tissue awareness first, then fascia, then organs, then cranial, then structural correction. That's a very logical osteopathic progression and a strong selling point for the program.
