Manaual Osteopathic Pracitioner

For Massage Therapists

Applications are now open for our next Ontario cohort.

If you are a Registered Massage Therapist or healthcare professional who wants to expand your clinical skills, improve patient outcomes, and develop a deeper understanding of the human body, we invite you to join Echo Ridge Academy.

Our program blends classical osteopathic principles with modern manual therapy, clinical reasoning, and hands-on mentorship to prepare confident, skilled practitioners.

Whether you are looking to begin your osteopathic journey or advance your current practice, we welcome dedicated professionals who are passionate about lifelong learning.

About Echo Ridge Academy

Echo Ridge Academy was founded with a simple vision: to provide students with the foundational palpation skills needed to develop into skilled manual osteopaths. Palpation as an osteopath is called “Listening”, and it is a highly advanced intuitive skill that takes years to develop.

While teaching within other Manual Osteopathic programs, students found listening skills and integration very challenging. They learned more techniques than their brains could remember, but lacked the understanding of how to apply them. At Echo Ridge, we decided to teach a strong foundation to which continued growth would be stable, fun, and progressive vs more confusing.

Why Join Now?

Echo Ridge Academy is currently entering Phase 2 of its development.

Phase 1 focused on building a strong educational foundation. During this stage we:

  • Developed and refined the curriculum.

  • Secured professional association approvals for insurance recognition.

  • Graduated our inaugural students.

  • Evaluated and improved every module through classroom experience.

Phase 2 is an exciting opportunity for a small group of therapists to help shape the future of the Academy.

Over the coming year, we will be professionally recording every lecture, demonstration, and practical technique for integration into our online learning platform. Students joining during this phase will receive the complete in-person educational experience while also benefiting from lifetime access to the growing digital library as it is released.

To ensure every student receives exceptional mentorship and individual attention, enrolment is limited to just 12 students for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Once the Academy is fully launched, the complete Manual Osteopathic Practitioner Program will be offered at its regular tuition of $16,000.

As a thank you to our founding Phase 2 students, Echo Ridge Academy is offering a Founding Cohort Scholarship of $10,000, reducing tuition to $6,000 for the first twelve accepted applicants.

This opportunity is designed for dedicated healthcare professionals who are ready to expand their clinical knowledge, grow their practice, and become part of the Academy's founding legacy. In return, we ask for your feedback throughout the program as we continue refining and building one of Canada's leading postgraduate manual therapy education programs.

What You Will Graduate With

Upon successful completion of the program, you will graduate as an Integrated Manual Therapist (IMT). As an IMT, you will have mastered Echo Ridge Academy's Functional Systems Assessment™ (FSA) and Tissue Melting™ (TM)protocols, allowing you to confidently integrate these clinical frameworks with your existing massage therapy and soft tissue education.

From there, you may choose to complete the RMT to Manual Osteopathic Practitioner (MOP) Bridge Program, making you eligible to apply for professional association membership and insurance billing as a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner, where available.

Some graduates choose to build successful careers as Integrated Manual Therapists, while others continue to the MOP designation. There is no single path. Throughout the program, we mentor you in developing a career that aligns with your clinical interests, professional goals, and unique strengths.

Our curriculum is designed to produce immediate clinical growth. Students learn in incremental steps, allowing them to apply new assessment and treatment skills with their existing clients within the first few months of training. Previous Phase 1 students reported increased confidence, improved patient outcomes, and annual revenue increases ranging from $10,000 to $40,000. Every student in our inaugural cohort recovered the cost of tuition before graduation by gradually implementing the skills learned throughout the program.
